Each JLY suitcase undergoes rigorous testing to meet high durability standards and withstand the demands of travel. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect, our guarantee ensures you receive a replacement or repair.
Please note that this guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by airline mishandling. If your luggage is damaged by an airline, we recommend reporting the issue to them immediately, ideally before leaving the airport.
What Does the Guarantee Cover?
The 5-year quality guarantee applies to wheeled luggage cases purchased directly from www.jlyluggage.co.uk and is valid from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for any claims.
This guarantee covers manufacturing defects only and does not include refunds beyond our 30-day standard returns period.
What Does the Guarantee Cover?
Our quality guarantee covers faults caused by defective materials or workmanship. It applies to quality and build issues that affect the functionality of the luggage case within the guarantee period. If a manufacturing defect occurs, we are happy to offer repair or an equivalent replacement product at no cost.
What Does the Guarantee Not Cover?
This guarantee does not cover:

Airline mishandling (e.g., dents, cracks, scratches, rips, sheared-off wheels, bent trolley handles)

General wear and tear over time, including wheel degradation

Neglect, accidents, or misuse

Exposure to extreme temperatures, water, beauty products, chemicals, or solvents

Damage to contents inside the luggage (e.g., electronics, liquids, valuables)

Lock issues due to incorrect setting, misuse, or forced opening

Indirect damages (e.g., lost profits, incidental expenses, customs fees)

How to Make a Claim

Contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase and details of the defect.

If your claim is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the product for repair or replacement.

The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

A valid proof of purchase (e.g, order number #0001SPUK) is required to process your claim.

Customers outside their original region of purchase must cover shipping costs and any applicable customs fees.

If the issue is not due to a manufacturing defect but a repair is offered at our discretion, customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from our warehouse.

*If you purchased from www.jlyluggage.co.uk between 1st February 2023 and 25th March 2025, your product is covered under our 3-year warranty terms. Purchases made on or after March 26, 2025, fall under our current 5-year guarantee terms.
